Description:
The Alfateh University, the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the National Authority of Scientific Research (NASR) are organizing a School on Dynamical Systems to be held from 23 November to 1 December 2010, in Tripoli, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.
The School will be organized in 5 mini-courses, including:
Holomorphic Dynamics - Marco Abate (Univ. Pisa, Italy)
Fractals and Bifurcations - Francesca Aicardi (ICTP, Italy)
Ergodic Theory - Stefano Luzzatto (ICTP, Italy)
Topological Dynamics - Jana Rodriguez-Hertz (Univ. Montevideo, Uruguay)
Hyperbolic Dynamics - Isabel Rios (UFF, Niterói, Brazil)

PARTICIPATION
The main purpose of the ICTP is to help researchers from developing countries through a programme of training activities within the framework of international cooperation. As the School will be conducted in English, participants should have an adequate working knowledge of that language. Travel and subsistence expenses of the participants will be borne by their home institution. There is no registration fee to attend the School.
The closing date for the receipt of requests for participation is 30 September 2010
