Description:

We present a new approach to the ground state of a lattice system whose evolution is governed by an arbitrary finite Hamiltonian matrix H. We show that the ground state of H can be analytically determined through the probability distribution of the underlying classical dynamics. Some possible applications of the present approach will also be discussed.
