Description:

TOPICS:

• QCD and Effective Theories
• Technicolor Theories
• Basics of Collider Physics
• Little Higgs Models
• Composite Higgs Models
• Warped Models and AdS/CFT
• Higgless and Gauge-Higgs Unification Models in Warped Space

A. Pomarol (UAB)
I. Rothstein (Carnegie Mellon University)
J. Thaler (MIT)

The purpose of the School is to provide a pedagogical introduction in the form of a series of lectures by individual speakers about non-supersymmetric strongly coupled new physics beyond the Standard Model. Soon after the School, there will be a more advanced 3-day Workshop (25 - 27 January) for experts in the field (Workshop website: http://agenda.ictp.it/smr.php?2400).
